Looking for something new? If you're on the market for a free trial of an MMORPG, Shen Long is looking to put together a group to work up EVE Online, and see if it's practical for DB use. It seems to have a background similar, in some respects, to Allegiance, but in talking with Shen Long, he describes it as "a mix between Diablo and KOTOR, with all-cap ship space battles."

We have a MMORPG that is totally Star Wars based already why do we need one that vaguely resembles star wars?
I dunno maybe I am being cynical.
Some people like other games or different setups. We're not a club devoted to being Star Wars purists - we're a club devoted to having fun in the context of the Star Wars universe

If you guys want to join another MMORPG and keep it order specific SWG has every thing you need.
Sith pilots Jump to Lightspeed was designd for you guys flying similar to XWA and Allegiance.
Obelisk go out there and kill stuff on the ground like you know you can.
And Krath you now have a game where you can put all your skills into practise.
Basically this game is a MMORPG like all others you have to pay a monthly subscription while I am not trying to tell people to not play EVE I am saying SWG is order specific so why not try SWG guys, If you are willing to pay a monthly subscription you may as well pay one to the genre that attracted you to this club in the first place, in case you needed reminding thats Star Wars.
This game is a lot of fun and we want to play it with people we know, don't haggle us just because you're addicted to galacrack.
I believe my comments were pertinent to this, I have heard mention that this game is here to generate activity within the DB I am all up for that.
But you cannot deny there is a MMORPG that is more akin to what we do here within the DB.
So before jumping on your soapbox and saying stuff like we can bend this game to fit the DB lets look at whats already available within the community.
Also to the person who mentioned we are not a star wars based club I cant remember the last time I saw Jedi mentioned anywhere else maybe thats just me, and them games Jedi Academy, Jedi Outcast, X wing v Tie fighter, X wing Alliance all based on them other non star wars films god I love them non star wars games lol.
