The rite had worked. Darkness was descending on Antei at an incredible rate. The masters aboard the Heresiarch were drained but their sacrifice had been essential. The power of the resurgent Dark Side gave strength to the teams on the surface who were assaulting the Jedi.

The Headmaster surveyed the progress of the battle with satisfaction. The other Dark Councillors and leaders of the Brotherhood surrounded him and mused on the battle against the Jedi. Dark Jedi Master Gui Long was particularly satisfied. A small display before them showed the basic tactical layout of the battle and a few cameras allowed them glimpses of the action within the Dark Hall itself - but none of them needed such things to truly sense what was taking place on the surface of Antei.

As Overlord Rekio's team seized another area of the hall, Overlord Oberst's team burst into the main chambers of the Dark Hall. Every Dark Jedi of stature with the Headmaster could feel the fabric of the Force vibrate as the events in that vast room unfolded. Within moments, the pathetic excuse for 'control' that the Light side had claimed to have over the Dark Hall was shattered. Oberst and his team were brutally efficient in exterminating or 'detaining' most of the Jedi scum. Oberst indicated through the Force that he had personally captured the so-called Light Side 'Avatar' Michael Halcyon and was holding him for...questioning. He also indicated, as only Oberst can, that he had barely restrained his sincere desire to slaughter the traitor mercilessly.

Spears turned his head slightly and looked at his fellow Warlord, Xu Long, more commonly known to the masses as Syn Kaek. Not a word was spoken but the Praetor understood what was needed. Within the next half hour, the rolls were purged of Jedi and the announcement of restoration had been made. The rest of the Dark Council used the time to recover their drained Force energy. Yet it was finally over - the madness that had engulfed the Brotherhood had been eclipsed.

The Dark Side once again reigned supreme.
