DJK In SWG

I was on Dantooine trying to find Rebel bases in order to Jam the bases uplink, I was having a great day by jamming over 8 Rebel Forward outposts and earning me 1000 XP with the Investigation branch of Bounty Hunter.

I arrived to a well known Rebel area knowing that most of the Rebel players would not be on in the middle of a weekday, I arrived to there City of lights on Dantooine, a known Rebel City that still gives hell to most well known Imperial guilds that are holding on to remain a guild.

When I arrived I noticed that all four bases had all its personal lying dead and its turrets destroyed, A grand achievement attempted by our guild with the help of two other guilds to no avail.
I was so excited by this that I ran in all the Rebel bases and Jammed all the uplinks with no problem, I saw that a DJM was waving her scarlet lightsaber from a distance and wanted to thank her.
As I approached the DJM all I saw was Rebel NPC's that seemed to overwhelm her, I with out a though jumped in to the fray and called all hands on deck that shared the <djb> badge.
Corran Force responded to my hail, but before he arrived the DJM had wiped out all the rebels and I approached her to thank her for making my rebel base destruction sequence the easier.
That is when I noticed that she was herself a NPC and she shrugged at me before she attacked me I ran into the Rebel base for safety but she kept watch at the entrance until Corran Force arrived.
I warned COFO about the DJM and he lured her away from the area for me, when we thought she was gone we killed all the rebel NPC's and moved on to the next bunch of bases.
As I went in the base after killing all the NPC'S, who should I find?
The same DJM was waiting for me at the uplink terminal!
I died and Corran Force managed to escape with bad injuries, it makes you wonder if SWG has programs of DJM's that will study its targets every move?

Guys these DJM's do not discriminate among Rebel or Imperial they are only seeking destruction and death, they are 90% immune against everything except a lightsaber....so you might as well try
to Kill a Krayt Dragon!
Plus guys if anyone says that DJM's do not exist they are wrong.
Many players have achieved DJM and its the highest rank among us Imperials.</djb>

What in Valen's name is the point of this post? Why is it on the NEWS page?

I hate agreeing with Mike but it really should be on the SWG PA Site rather then the DB news page, does the SWG PA not have a site?

As a guild leader he is still required to file reports for the DC's perusal, file reports so his members are aware of whats happening, and attract attention to the guild itself. This is the best way to achieve all three of those in one strike.

Advice: Ignore it.

There's a lot of crap I have to read on djb.com that has no relevance to me, I don't care though, I just don't read those news posts.

For example, why should a pure blooded writer have to read things about a XvT/XWA Tournament that has nothing to do with them? Or something about weekly Sunday MP Tournaments that they don't own?

Answer: Because this club isn't just about what I, you, or anyone does. Its diverse. It incorporates multiple interest groups.

If you're not interested: don't read it. Its really not that difficult.

*weekly Sunday MP Tournaments for games they don't own.

Two things.

1) Unlike a DB wide competition such as the Sunday Tourneys and XWA/XvT Bracket tourney, SWG only effects a handful of people. People that probably already know what's going on in SWG.

2) This wasn't a report. It was a very random, horribly written short story about Raid's adventures in SWG. He does write reports, and like all DC members, uses the actual report function that hides them from the news page and just gives a link to go to so people who want to read it can.

  1. Things like Allegiance and Battlefront arguably affect even less people. I wouldn't want those taken off the news page either.

  2. And no, Raidoner can't post hidden reports. People wanted Baron removed from the Society Leaders. Therefore Baron lost its report posting access.

1) Still Order/DB-wide compared to Guild-wide

2) Then email reports to the appropriate members of the DC just like CONs/PCONs are supposed to do. But again, this wasn't a report it was a story. If he wants to talk/brag about stuff he can do it on the forums.

They're only as Order/DB wide as much as they are people who own the game. That's no different to SWG which is also as wide as it is people who own the game. There are a good 30-40 people from the DB playing SWG now on a regular basis, that's quite a large number of people for it to be treated as negligible.

Reports aren't just for the DC either, if they were I doubt people would bother writing them. That's why the CONs write Internal Reports, those are just for the DC. Public reports are as much about keeping the regulra person informed about competitions and activities as they are everything else.

I'll admit though that this post in particular was rather unnecessary as it didn't really tell people anything that informative and wasn't an actual report. That said, I've seen these kind of replies on actual reports, which was more why I brought it up.

My point was to warn SWG members about DJM's roaming around Dantooine.
1. I was not attempting to brag about my adventures.
2. There trully has not been much changes with in our guild in SWG, so I posted this to let the rest of the DB know that we are still alive.
3. Right it was not much of a report and yes I could of posted this in the forum, but we have new members that are joining the DB from SWG and I want them to see that we as the DBPA are an important part of the DB.

Every gaming club out there has a PA, why should we as DB members not support ours?

First of all Dantooine has been full of Force NPC since september, Force Adepts , Dark Adepts, Force Crystal Hunters, DJK and DJMs. These are the force users npc that roam around dantoine, all not to far from the MO.
Now, as has been said already even thought this "adventures" of yours are related to activities of our PA their best space whould be into the DBPA's MP. A better post, perhaps, whould have been to invite SWG interested members to read a post on the MB.
