Any of you who were hoping to get tickets to the Marathon will probably have heard that they sold out within nine minutes Monday morning. I wasn't lucky enough to get any myself, however, a number of kind (or rather: not so kind and extortionate) people did and are now selling them through eBay.

I had planned, had I managed to get the eight tickets I originally intended, to offer them for free to anybody in the DJB who wanted to come along. While I can't do that anymore I am going to still try and get tickets through eBay. They're clearly going to be a lot more expensive, so I doubt I'll be able to get hold of eight, however I'm still willing to try and get hold of four.

I essentially want to see what kind of interest there is first before I go and buy too many. If you'd be interesting in getting your hands on a ticket for free (though naturally I won't mind if you want to help pay) send me an [Log in to view e-mail addresses].

Obviously I can't guarantee I'll get tickets, nor can I guarantee you'll be one of the lucky ones, but if I can get an idea of people who can _guarantee _ they'd be able to attend on 16 May then I'll know how many to try and get.

EDIT - I figured I should add a few details:

• The Marathon is on 16 May and starts at 7:00am with ANH and finishes at 8:30pm with the premiere of ROTS, which will be introduced by George Lucas.
  
• Accomodation-wise the night before will have to be worked out between myself and whomever else ends up going. It will probably mean a hotel.
  
• To see ROTS you have to have seen all five previous movies.
  
• The performances are taking place at the UCI Empire cinema in London.
