Over the last several days, your Dark Council, Consuls and Proconsuls have been hard at work in the beginning stages of a project that I like to call Rebirth: The Awakening. Many of you know about Project: Rebirth. You were there last year when I announced many of the details involved in the project. Many of you have heard scant rumors about the project, what it entails, who is working on it and how far we are.

Today, I hope to quell those rumors with facts.

Project Rebirth, while largely dependant on the creation of a new website is not only that. There are many many pieces to Rebirth that all form into one big overhaul. The website is a large chunk of that, but is not the only piece. Below I have linked to a file that was sent to the Dark Council a few days ago. It is an updated version of the Rebirth proposal that I wrote some time ago. Within the document, you will find almost all of the information you need to get a firm grasp on the project.

In releasing that document, I talked to the Dark Summit about our priorities over the next few months. I went over that my primary goal is to complete Rebirth, and that I am redoubling my efforts to do so. Councilors, Consuls and Proconsuls will be working with me on this project, some putting aside personal projects to help out with this overhaul. Their effort won't be enough however. There are times when we are going to need a steady stream of volunteers from the membership. That is why we release this today. The membership must be fully knowledgable in the prjoect so that they understand it and can help.

I have put together a Calendar that the DC has been using to keep track of task dates and project timelines. The most important date is August 1st. That is the day I intend to launch the new website.

So with this, most of our efforts will be put to task on the Rebirth project. I encourage you to read up on what we are doing, ask questions, give suggestions and stay involved in the process. I will try and keep an open flow of communication through the news page.
