What happens for people who try to log on but don't have JA+ installed? I've got JA+ on my computer so it doesn't bother me as it works fine but does the server just kick out people who don't?

If so it'd probably help to have a permanent link somewhere so people can go and download the mod and maybe even a guide. I can remember the last time we tried mods and there'll be people who just won't bother playing if it means they have to go to a lot of effort figuring out where to get the patch from, where to download it etc.

On the plus side (no pun intended) JA+ rocks so it should make things more fun.

I belive I turned off the dedicated server, I will have to check. But with dedicated server off anyone can play, they simply will miss out on the added items.

However if the custom map is loaded and they don't have it then it will kick them out. So go get the IG JA map, and then compete.

JA+ is a server side mod so clients don't need to have it to join the Server. However, you won't be able to use some of the extra functions. Theres a Client-side plugin available for download.

Spears, dedicated only affects the servers status not who can and can't join, I think you meant you turned Pure Server off, which is bad. Basically means you can join with any mod (or hack) you have on your PC and play on the server. Pure server should be a must for all official DB servers.

As I said, having it Pure and Dedicated won't keep people out as its a server side mod. If people don't download the client plugin then they won't get the extras either way.

Other note: No fraglimit is good. Timelimit = bad. Both should be unlimited (0) to allow for continuous gameplay.
