Hello everyone.
If you are a current member you will probably see that your dossier has been set to inactive status. This is part of a massive database-cleansing operation aimed at removing bad dossiers. All members have been set to inactive and upon logging into the site will be reactivated.
Please note: the inactive status will not affect any positions, awards, ranks, or other aspects of your profile.
Emails explaining the process are being sent out now. If you have not received one, you will get yours over the next several hours.
**Here are INSTRUCTIONS on re-activating your dossier:

If you don't wish to be a part of this club anymore, simple do nothing and your dossier will be deleted in 1 month.

i agree, i think this form of an AWOL check is needed due to the crapper load of super-charged apprentices and other such cluttering profiles.
Actually I find this form of an AWOL check to be very clever and well thought. Kudos to Jac and Khan and everyone else who contributed.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but i think this is only a mass murder of young journeymen. We aren't actually removing GMs, DJMs, etc even though their dossiers have been deactivated, right?
Last I heard only Journeymen would be irrevocably gone while Equites and higher stay alive. Not that this would be my personal choice - I'd rather purge them all (except GMs, I'll get to that) and convert any worthy ones (let's say beginning with some deserving Warlord/Exarch/Epis folks and higher) into NPCs along the Rebirth character system. This way, our old names and influential figures would be retained in our history while our dossiers would actually be clean of any inactives. After all, DJM Zach or Haem won't be known to many if any anymore - but a DJM Shadonyx, Mairin or Corran Force would be an irreplaceable figure to lose even if they chose not to reactivate themselves - so the DB should actually have them at their disposal in NPC form. And if any of them wants to return to activity, we'll still have their stuff around.
