Just kidding. But seriously, read this. I know, sometimes, reading news is boring. But hey, what can I say. Sometimes, life isn't all fun and booze.

Anyways, one important thing is, the Sith Ranks poll. After talking with several people, I've decided the following: I'm going to override things, and select to go back to using Battlemaster and Battlelord, which means the Sith will follow the ranks progression that we had before the ranks-naming nonsense originally started about two years ago (meaning Warrior, Battlemaster, Battlelord, Warlord). You have three days to express yourselves on this, because I would like feedback. However, realize, I never saw the point to getting name-happy, I wanted to fix a problem that I saw, that started with changing the ranks. The way I see it now, it wasn't broken before, let's fix this problem.

Secondly, the DB is yours. It is just like a car, or a computer, or your own body. You have to maintain it, you have to appreciate it, you have to make sure it thrives. Don't just go through bitching about how you should be able to get to DJK through the Shadow Academy, because you have no games. Don't just assume you have to change Orders because you have no games, or only want to do one specific thing. We are in the middle of trying to adapt, and make the Brotherhood the best Club available; this requires all of you. Honestly, I get tired of seeing AWOL lists of people who have been in three weeks, or people who have been in three years. If the DB isn't the same, get involved. Believe it or not, I used to be of the mindset that the DB had problems, and I quit. I was gone for a while, and then came back when I realized, the problem was within me, and I had to make changes in myself, and help others change their own viewpoints, as well.

Thirdly, I'm still working on the Sith War. What is it, you may ask? Well, I'm not worried about that. With the IGs having finished, Clans need time to relax, but also to run their own comps. Also, the Obelisk RoS is technically the next up, so I'm also giving time for that, if Korras chooses to run one. Finally, I've scrapped so many ideas for the Sith War, because of finding them lacking, or whatever, that I'm sort of recreating what I want. Needless to say, it won't be out for a while; I expect to have it no earlier than next year, maybe around January or February. But, I have competitions in mind that I would like to run between now and then. Want a chance at earning a Nebulon-B? You'll get it. Want an opportunity for a VSD? I still need to talk to jac and Mav, but you might have that opportunity. There's a lot in store. Be involved.

And now, because I'm drinking, I have no idea what else I was talking about. But that's a point in itself; have fun in the DB. This isn't a job, this isn't a life-sentence, it's a club, and it's a pastime. Make sure it's meaningful, and enjoyable.
