Inter-Club Training Event

Overview

Yesterday was a fairly interesting event. For the first time in months, we were missing all of our big-time CF earning guys. We had 30 participants - of which 2 were RS members. But, i think it was still a pretty good success. Plenty of matches distributed amongst everyone - most of the matches legal by the rules we posted a couple weeks ago. No one was able to satisfy the 12 CF / 7 opponents qualification, so no crescents will be rewarded. All of the CFs have been rec'd.

Allegiance

I'd just like to mention that we had 4 1v1 Allegiance matches played. Everyone who participated in these received double the regular amount of Clusters of Fire for their Allegiance matches. This 1v1 incentive will continue until we have a sizable population of Allegiance players duking it out in DB competitions. As BF has mentioned several times, your efforts at helping to make Allegiance a success in the DB will be rewarded handsomely. This is a free game with a fairly easy installation process - take advantage of this opportunity to boost your DB profile and earn possessions for your clan*.*

Other

Mav wanted me to be a little clearer on ICTE matches... Notably: a) You MUST organize all ICTE matches in #outerrim, -OR- b) Organize matches in an ICTE gaming server that has members from #outerrim playing in it. I'll update the rules as soon as I get a chance.

For each 5-kill JO/JA match or 10-minute XvT/XWA match (or other standard match in a different game):

Report scores in this format: JO 1vs1: DB5540 Cornix 5 -vs- DB4948 Hideki Tamalar Tetsuya 1

This format contains the game played, the type of game, the club/pins, names, and scores.

If for some reason some of this information is missing, your scores may be recorded incorrectly. If you play 3 matches, report this 3 times. Don't lump it into one report like 15-5 or something. I will think was only one match. Please do not blame me if you don't get as many CFs as you were expecting. We created the reporting format for a reason :(

In the near future, look for some more changes to the ICTE. The spreadsheet is uploaded, the site updated. Next Saturday, we will have the ICTE at the normal time... 11pm Friday until 1am Sunday - Eastern time in #outerrim.
