Alacrity of the Commander 2.0 - Clan Summit Management of Envoys

Greetings,

Today it is my pleasure to release to the DB the second of what will be over fifty different documents in our "Alacrity of the Commander" project. If you are unfamiliar with this project, the aim is very simple: to educate the current and future leaders of the Dark Brotherhood on every aspect of their roles.

Traditionally, aspiring leaders have been forced to learn these duties through trial and error, others learning through a mentor or other experienced leader in the Brotherhood. The Alacrity of the Commander series aims to change the traditional, inefficient approach. We hope that these documents can be read by any aspiring leaders and understood in their entirety without the cumbersome process we rely on today. Leaders will not only learn what they need to do, but also learn why it is important, and how the duties should be performed. Leaders should be able to take what they learn in these documents and immediately apply them to better leading and administrating their units - whether they be fundamental battleteams or the bastion clans themselves.

The first of these documents was released last month: "1.0 - Welcoming New Members." Since that release, my Praetor, Pyralis, has been working withSpears and Anshar to create the newest document: "2.0 - Clan Summit Management of Envoys." The Alacrity here details the process of finding envoys, managing their duties and any other overall processes regarding those positions from the veiwpoint of a Clan Summit member. The document is built so that even one without knowledge of the Enoy position's duties should be able to gain advice from it.

You can find this, and all other current and future Alactiry documents here:

A special thanks goes out to Alanna for reviewing and editing the final documents. Alanna - you're awesome. And again -- thanks to Pyralis for writing this, Spears and Anshar for their input.
