When Yacko and I initially talked about his retirement, I started pondering who would serve as the best replacement for him. In talking with Mav and a few others, we kept coming to the same set of names, and one person was out on top in the end. That person is former Grand Master Firefox.

The position of Justicar requires among all things the ability of the holder to be neutral, and perhaps even more importantly, the appearance of neutrality. We wanted someone who would be accepted by all, and I think we found that person.

For note, because Justicar is such an important position, the process is more involved in filling the spot. I nominated FF for the position, and the Dark Coincil confirmed it by a 3/4 vote (the vote was actually unanimous for FF). The only other spot with that process is GM.

Firefox is a great asset to this cub and I have every confidence that he is going to do a great job with the judicial system. He will be working on documenting all of our procedures and working out any kinks in our process. They are already looking to establish a CoJ website, and get rolling with the first set of changes. You will hear more from FF soon.

So congratulations, Firefox. Welcome back to active duty!
