Only 5 days have passed since my Preator announced this and it seems people already can't remember about it so here we go again :

We’re going to make a slight change to the procedure on submitting competitions for approval. From here on, if you’re submitting a competition for a unit that you’re not in charge of, you need to get approval from that unit’s summit first and indicate that you have done so in the request.

For example, if you are a Battleteam leader and you want to run a competition for your House, clear it with your Quaestor or Aedile first and then make a note in the request that you have received approval. If you’re a Quaestor or Aedile and you want to run a competition for your Clan, get approval from your Consul of Proconsul first and then indicate that you received approval in your request. No one is restricted from running a competition so long as they have received approval from the unit leadership in question.

This will make sure that all summits are aware of everything going on in their respective units and will hopefully cut down on medals being requested that cannot be rewarded. If you have any questions, leave a comment and I’ll respond to you.
