Farewell
In the best interests of the club I formally submit my resignation from the position of Herald, effective as of the meeting today, Saturday October 22nd. My RL time is really limited and the DJB deserves far more than I can afford. I cannot hinder the you all any longer. To attempt it would be selfish, and you deserve better than that. It saddens me to leave but it pains me more to hold on while unable to dedicate the resources needed to be effective.
I thank you for all the good times. After 5 years, 8 months and one day, I am the Herald no more.

We all owe a debt of graditutde to Kaine for his long and outstanding service. He is a great member and a good friend. On behalf of the DB, Kaine...thank you.
Applications for HRLD will not be needed. We have our replacement already. I will announce that shortly.

Prophet Mandaala and members of the Dark Brotherhood,
I come before you to recognise the greatness and absolute uniqueness of Prophet Kaine Mandaala.
I have known Kaine for many, many years now and from the very first encounter I can recall that our friendship was seemless and instantaneous. Since that day, this great unity has only grown stronger and I consider Kaine (Bob!), without a shadow of a doubt, a true and real friend. I've never met the guy, I've never even communicated with him outside the normal Brotherhood means, but this doesn't unsubstantiate my claim any more. I have people who I call friends in everyday circumstances whom I would swap Kaine for quicker than Lord Vader gets's a hard-on over new leather clothing.
Kaine, as you said in your "synopsis", you took me on after I was publicly denounced, labeled as a loser and a bitterly, bitterly angry member. You gave me an oppertunity which I'd like to think I took and excelled in. You gave me back my faith in the DB, in the Coucil members, in online communities. I could have walked after Astatine's "retribution" was enacted but you helped me stay. I thank you for this great great gift and your continual praise and encouragement. Without you I may never have made Dark Jedi Master and I would most certainly have never recieved my beloved Diamond Sword.
You have made my final years as a fading DJM very, very happy and I hope I have helped you enjoy your time too! The Brotherhood will never again be the same without Kaine Mandaala on the Council, although you could never have chosen a better replacement. Cyris Oscura is more worthy a Herald than I could ever have been and your wisdom for waiting after all my years of trying to kill you off has done you proud.
Your legacy may never be matched Prohet Mandaala, but I know Cyris wil do his utmost to make you look shit! Alas, the philosophy of the Dark Jedi kicks in and our divine right to hate EVERYONE reveals the extent of the thin line between love and hate.

You've been a mentor and a true leader to me from the first time I returned to the Brotherhood, almost 3 years ago now. We've been down a long road together. But an amazing one it was.
Mentorship become more, you became a brother to me, like one of flesh and blood, I care for you and there are no words that could express everything we've been through, and the feelings that I bare for you. Kinship. Complicity. Pure bond and partnership.
From our Guild War treks to our bloody matches in JA, from Project Epiderm to the Warbanner, we'd had the most amazing of times. And under your guidance, your kindness and your friendship, I grew from a DJK to the DA I am now. Short-tempered perhaps, but still. Without you, and with of course Mejas, your Partner in Crime, I'd probably still be a KP doing basic DB stuff.
Nah, its thanks to you that I'm here today. And no matter what we've endured, our arguments, or what I could have ever said to hurt you, we remind a true team.
Thank you so much, for everything you've added to my life. I don't think there are many I could claim, in a online community, have chanced my life. But you accomplished that feat.
