For all that have the game, I will advise you to check out the test center before jumping into the game. It is not a pre-CU game but a totally new system that resembles "World of Warcraft". Keep in mind that I have never played WoW and understand that these changes are big, we will be given 2 characters per server and that we can adjust to Jedi.
I for one like it and enjoy the solo hunting, I did not like the CU where we had to rely on a group.
The test centers are still open so check out the game.

I agree both with raid and with Reinthaler, this is a new game, and it does play well. However it's removed what has been classed as the "end game" with the jedi proffession, as well as several proffessions (my beloved ranger proffession being one). SoE call this an "enhancement", which it isn't, this is what starwars galaxies 2 should of been, however in doing so they have made this release now due to releases being made on the PS2 and Xbox series.
In short yes this is a good improvement as to the F**k up that SoE did with the Combat Upgrade, however it's made the system somewhat more a basic game where you run about shooting things, and where quests equal greater xp than just killing things.
Reinthaler, please keep those kind of comments to your self in the future. There is no need for this "flamebait" in the news' comments section.

guys seriously, if you want to argue on whats appropriate and what's not for the comments take it up on the forums we see enough topics going chaotic because of it....

1) It was pretty obvious to see Rein was joking. Most people associate the little ":P" (tongue) with sarcasm, or humor, or otherwise.
2) "Flamebaiting" Is something totally different. I'd suggest that people with itchy "leader fingers" need to learn to relax.
I know Rein was kidding but still it's a note for anyone who didn't like it .....
