It is a great day!!!

When you get an eager individual on staff (in any capacity) it's great to see them "work", to take pride in what they do and be good at it. It's even more fulfilling when, despite all the bunk that's thrown at them, they still want more. She excelled as an ACCLive! Judge, getting to know her way around and picking our brains for 'how' things are done around the Centre. She's "asked" for more to do and to become more involved with the daily processes. So, the DCM and I obliged her when her Trainer application came through.

She was given a "canned" battle to comment on. A battle riddled with errors that was created by the staff for the purposes of training. Our ultimate goal for her, in that task, was simply to address the errors and explain how she would correct them - she did outstanding.

Her next task was to take a failed qualification and play the role of the Initiate who did not pass. Without changing the 'intent' behind the posts, she was to rewrite them (as that character) in such a way that would garner a "pass" from a Trainer. It's a tough little thing because she had to write like someone else, avoid the pitfalls that the original posts may have had - and not change the general feel of the battle. She did quite well...

Her experience as an ACCLive! Judge, coupled with the success of her "trials", made JH Siyavash the obvious choice for the ACC Training staff - Welcome aboard Siya! Congratulations!
