Today it is my privilege to honor Timbal Palpatine for his service to the Brotherhood. Timbal has served as the Consul of Scholae Palatinae for almost four months. In his tenure, there has been constant activity from the members, great competitions from the Summits and active participation from CSP in the Dark Council. I have been very pleased with Timbal's attitude, his work ethic and his love for the clan.

Something that I truly appreciate about Timbal is that he is good at keeping track of projects and keeping me up-to-date on their statuses. His internal reporting to me is excellent; Timbal is thorough and open with his remarks. He has contributed to projects of my own -- helping to write the Consular Handbook was greatly appreciated.

A promotion for this great member has been a long time coming. Today, I promote Consul Timbal Palpatine to the rank of Krath Epis.

I have served with Archpriest Timbal Palpatine since first joining CSP some 5+ years ago. Throughout that time -- even when not in a formal leadership position -- Timbal has consistently served our Clan as a mentor and a true leader -- always friendly and attentive to new recruits and Clan stalwarts alike, always aware of Clan activities and encouraging of members to participate -- never through tirades or coercion, but with good will, friendship, and a genuine desire to enhance our collective DB experience. Through his kind manner and unpretentious intellect, Timbal has left an indelible mark of excellence on our Clan, and he continues to give of himself all that could be asked of any Consul. He is always involved and accessible to all.

As a "Son of Palpatine," Archpriest Timbal has made that honor more than just a name. With an attentiveness and gentle respect for us "old skoolers," he has helped give the Sons of Palpatine a strong sense of togetherness and commitment to the greater good -- of something to feel really proud to be a part of. Just recently, Timbal formulated a document entitled "Clan Traditions," which highlighted the many triumphs and tribulations of our time together. Serving as a basis for the living, evolving annals of our great Clan history and traditions, Timbal's initiative has inspired the Sons of Palpatine to chronicle our collective experiences in a comprehensive document that will reflect all of CSP's achievements, both great and small. With Timbal, he need only ask us to participate, and on his request alone, we gladly do so. That's the kind of loyalty he has always inspired in others.

Though I have not formally discussed this with my peers, I feel confident that the other Sons (and Daughter) of Palpatine -- Arania, Saitou, Cuchulain, and Phoenix -- would wholeheartedly endorse this recommendation for our esteemed Consul. With the holiday season upon us, I feel this is a much deserved and fitting gift for the man that I feel honored to call my leader and my friend.
