I am not one for long speeches so I will try to keep this rather brief.
It has been over Two and a Half years since I first walked thru the doors of the Shadow Academy as a member of the Staff and after a year and a half as Headmaster I feel it is time to move elsewhere. In that time I feel a great deal has gone on within the Academy and I hope I have made it a better place for the Brotherhood as a whole. I find the Envoys are in as good a shape as they may ever have been in the past and the Halls of the Academy are packed with students (Well Over 6,500 exams have been taken and passed in my time as Headmaster) a well trained and highly skilled staff is actively training those who will lead the Brotherhood forward in the future. I feel I have accomplished my goals as Headmaster as well as laid the groundwork for some others that will come in the near future. That said Applications will not be taken for the position at this time, I have left my recommendation with the Grand Master and I have full faith that a new Headmaster will be chosen in the near future.
I plan on returning to my Estate on Yridia IV, until such time as the Brotherhood calls upon me to once again serve The Final Way.

You've served with honor, distinction, and humility my friend and for that I thank you as does everyone here. Enjoy being a slacker you've earned it. :)
You know, you can look at the career of people, and tell them, "Well done." Or, you can review their impact, and say, "Your efforts are unparalleled, and you have no equal." But with Spears, I don't think either of those would say enough. When I think about the tenure and accomplishments of Spears, only one thing comes to mind.
"Good god, it's about time you took a break and let yourself relax."
You have done an amazing amount of work for the Brotherhood. I believe we are all enhanced by what you have done, and I can honestly say, I don't think any member of the Dark Council currently serving has done as much as you have. Others may come close, but you have gone far above and beyond your calling. The new members of the Brotherhood are the recipients of your service, and even the older veterans alike have earned much from your tenure.
Well done, Spears. Very well done. Now. Go have a beer. You've more than earned it.
Well Spears, I hate to see you go, as I served as your magistrate, special magistrate, and as a semi preator(slave boy #1) and I dont know if anyone could ever come close to the work ethic you had. So I will say I wll miss ya...and dont be a stranger

Oh man, I'll defintly miss you as the HM, you've been the greatest HM ever. It's not that bad since you'll be back in Tarentum. Wait a minute...this means you can't change my name anymore, Mwhahaha! I'll see you on IRC then. :P

Spears was the first person I interacted with on IRC at the #Shadowacademy, he though me how to play XWA against other people on line and also introduced me to the benefits of the SA and its courses and still to this day I try to get all my fellow members to do the same and harvest the advantages that the SA can offer.
