1) The GMRG competition, Gethsemane Incident, has progressed into Part 2. Details for this competition can be found in the GMRG Forum. I urge all Guardsmen to participate... and don't be surprised if you get ejected from the GMRG for not participating :P

2) In the last month, I've gotten a tremendous number of applications from people wishing to join the GMRG. This is obviously good for the GMRG, but unfortunate for many of the applicants, as only a small number will be invited to join (mostly people I don't hate and don't find annoying). I will be reviewing applications next week and will likely send out invites during the last week of march.

3) Bracen, Nekura, and I have briefly discussed what we have accomplished with the GMRG and what still needs to be accomplished in the future. Several projects, including ones that should've been finished already, are being delegated out between the Guard Captains and myself... these projects include expanding the role of Echani in the ACC, focusing more on the RPG/writing aspects of the GMRG, and developing a specialized niche for multiplayer gaming (particularly for games like battlefront2 and empire at war).

4) A Shadow War mini-vendetta is being planned for mid-April. This competition will involve members of the Dark Council, their bodyguards, and the rest of the GMRG. Direct conflict between Dark Council members is forbidden, so Dark Council members resolve their petty squabbles in other ways... such as pitting their bodyguards in gladiatorial combat to the death. Guardsmen are duty-bound to serve their respective Dark Council members even if it means sacrificing their own lives.
