The GMRG Open is held quarterly (four times per year) at different locations throughout the DB Dominion. The second GMRG Open will be held on Atrophos, one of Antei's two moons. Atrophos is also the location of the GMRG Crucible Training Seminary--where potentials are honed into Royal Guardsmen.

The GMRG Open consists of two single elimination bracket tournaments: one for Jedi Academy and one for Jedi Outcast. Games are played best two out of three matches. Both players must decide whether they will use lightsabers or guns before each match starts.

Signups are now open; everyone in the DB is eligible to participate...please email [Log in to view e-mail addresses] and include your dossier # and which of the two brackets you are signing up for (or you can sign up for both). The cutoff will be 16 players per bracket. Once 16 players have signed up for a particular bracket, I will post the match pairings.

CFs will be awarded for 1 win or 3 losses. ECFs will be awarded instead if a matchset results in the defeat of a Guardsman. Loyalty will be awarded to all participating Guardsmen. Crescents will be awarded to the Semi-finalists, finalist, and champion of each bracket. The champions of each ladder bracket will also receive an additional reward of substantial value.
