Greetings,

Picking a DGM is never an easy task – a lot needs to be right when choosing a new right-hand-man. There needs to be consistency in work ethic, ideas and management practices. There needs to be complimentary thoughts in terms of the vision for the club. Most of all, there needs trust and the ability to work well together.

There were many great candidates for DGM -- I had a hard time just narrowing it down. Nevertheless, in the end I cut it down to three: Kaiann, Trev and Goat. All three brought great things to the table -- different things at that. My trouble in the end was finding the best way to make use of each candidate's skills the best, while at the same time finding someone who would help compliment my leadership style.

I've found that person in Goatham. Most of you know him -- he has been effective in many leadership positions during his membership. Most notably, he had a prosperous term as Sith High Warrior, and he is currently serving as Naga Sadow's Consul -- and has been for two years. Goat has fantastic ideas for the expansion of the DB and for some needed change. His focuses and knowledge compliment mine quite well, and I think we will make a great team.

I cannot ignore that there were two other people in the end that still have a lot to contribute. Both Kaiann and Trev are pinnacle members of this club, and as I have told them both, I plan to utilize each of them more in the future. I am hoping that Trev will be returning to work on the DSC soon. As for Kaiann, I fancy an expanded role for him in the DB and DC -- his experience and ideas should be utilized to their fullest.
