Well, I got the news in my e-mail from Webroot, because I use Webroot's Spy Sweeper (a great anti-spyware/adware/trojan program, but you have to pay for it). I also chose to get e-mail updates and I do read them.
I'm afraid I don't know how to get rid of it. My guess is that anti-virus/anti-spyware programs are the best bet, but they may have to play catch up.
