Nearly a year ago Clan Scholae Palatinae took a great hit when our Consul at that time, Sith Battlelord Vally Tamalar had to step down. During the hustle of finding a new Consul and setting up the Clan to his system and desires we, the members of Clan Scholae Palatinae, forgot to take a moment to say thank you to a great leader. Today I have come forward in hopes of making up for that to show Vally that Clan Scholae Palatinae is truly appreciative of everything that he did during his tenure as not only Consul of our great Clan, but as Quaestor of two of our Houses, and his general membership. Long has passed the time for thanks, but I hope that all of CSP’s members and anyone else that would like to would take the time to say thank you for a job well done.

Knowing that talk is cheap, today I submitted a request to the Grand Master and Deputy Grand Master to award Battlelord Tamalar with the Sapphire Blade. The Codex of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood states that the Sapphire Blade is awarded for: “Consistent service to one's Clan or Order which does not render recognition until seen as a whole. It is often awarded as a medal for multiple services over a long period of time.” It is my opinion that there is no better example of consistent service to one’s Clan than SBL Vally Tamalar. Today, with the help of the GM, DGM, and MAA, Vally has been awarded the Sapphire Blade for all of his hard work in CSP, and I hope you will join me in congratulating him.
