Hey everybody,

I am rescinding the "Talk to Kaek" policy on Equite promotions. The necessary adjustments to the approval process have been made. Submit Equite promotions to the queue as you do any other promotion. It will be evaluated there. There will, however, be changes forthcoming to the whole Equite process so...

It is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that leaders keep track of everything their members do that might warrant a medal or promotion of some sort. I've said it before and I'll say it again: vague descriptions of 'good' things people have done is just not going to cut it. Summits should already be documenting the activities or their members - that's your job.

Some people seem to have forgotten that I require concrete examples of activity and/or leadership in requests. Simply stating that someone is good or has been a good leader isn't going to work. How? What did they do? Give me a few examples. Though I have been enforcing this to an extent since I first became MAA, I'm reminding you again and there will be even stricter enforcement of this policy. Learn how to use concrete facts in your persuasive paragraphs or expect to have your recommendations denied. Give me something to work with here.
