It's come to my attention that many of you are placing copyrighted images in your profiles and articles on the DJB Wiki. You need to be aware that this constitutes a violation of several international copyright laws, but fear not, there is hope.
There is a provision to these laws called Fair Use which does give some room for online communities and websites to display a copyrighted image, provided it's not for profit and it enhances the written material.
With that in mind, I've created a template to use on the DJB Wiki to provide a fair use disclaimer on uploaded images. If you are going to upload an image, or have already uploaded an image and you know it's copyrighted(if you got it from some site then it is) you need to add the new tag to your image.

As I don't know the specifics on how this all works, is it possible to do a "blanket" statement for the DB Wiki itself, stating that any copyrighted images that are being used on the site are protected under the fair use law. Or must each individual image have that disclaimer?
A blanket Fair Use statement will suffice (actually, we don't need the statement at all, but it's good practice to have the disclaimer). However, people do need to list the source of their image.
