Gaming Poll - please complete

Hey guys

I have a new poll posted. Basically, I am looking into if Sunday Gaming should be eliminated to make SIT "special" again. The idea behind it is this, Sunday gaming is similar to SIT, only difference is the crescents. Eliminating it will make SIT trust Sunday Invitational Tournament and will make it a bigger deal. Please take part in this poll, and enter comments, I am really interested in this idea.

Thanks and looking forward to the results

Of course SIT should be special, that's how it's always been. And the prizes were sexy

Why not have every day a CF awarding gaming day, making every other gaming night less special, then SITs will look more special because it has decent awards.

I fully agree with Werdna. It should be possible for every member to game for CFs, any time and day. Why penalize someone for wanting / being able to play at specific times?

When I became SHW, I sat down with Shaithis and Demos (the OHC and CoG, respectively), and we talked over some issues, problems, and ideas with gaming. At that point, everyone and their dog was running a gaming night, and there was nothing to separate one gaming night from another, and it basically said, "Game anytime and we'll throw out CFs like candy!" Did it make a difference? You never can tell, but I can tell you, most gaming nights were completely unused. People don't need CFs "every game, every time." What people need is something to keep them interested.

And thus, I created the SITs. It was something different, it was something that would allow for Clans to gain decent prizes by way of amassing points, and worked--for a while. The SIT was never, I repeat NEVER intended to be a permanent part of Brotherhood gaming. It was intended to be a temporary fix, and something to hold people over until the prestige/credit system came out.

What you need to do is get with Jac and Sarin, and have a serious discussion about the fate of the prestige/credit system. After that, instead of trying to decide how to act within the bounds of what we currently have, look outside the boundaries, and figure out what we should have. Scrap the SITs, scrap gaming as it is, and re-work it to be something new, something interesting, and something else to work FOR A WHILE, until we have to adapt and evolve, just like we always have had to.

That's what you need to do to "make things special," and fix what's wrong with gaming.
