New LucasArts Website; Force Unleashed Videos

Hey all,

Tyno pointed out to me tonight that LA just launched a new website. It's pretty sweet. http://www.lucasarts.com/

On there, there are also two new videos on the Force Unleashed going over more of the game physics. Looks pretty sweet.

The game is slated for Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, PSP and DS. No PC yet, unfortunately. We will have to do some gaming on XBox Live. :)

This looks like it is going to be one awesome star wars game and with these new technologies incredibly realistic.
Not to mention the sith on the main page looks totally badass. :)

People are already going apeshit on their forum about not supporting their "loyal" PC fans who have been with them since TIE Fighter. I'm sure it'll only be a matter of time before a PC version is announced... after all the difference between 360 and PC programming is supposed to be minor.

I believe they have a plan similar to how KOTOR was done. They will focus on the console versions first with a PC release several months later.
I can see why they would want to do the consoles first as the majority of gamers (especially younger ones) play consoles as opposed to PC. On a brighter note if the do the PC version after they can focus on it more making it as good as it should be and possibly fixing any problems the console versions had.

Who ever thought breaking pieces of wood could seem so fun? :P

The blonde female Imperial officer is hot.

Kaek told me to tell everyone. :P

/me creams himself

PC gamers are getting shafted, and it's kind of their own fault. The PC industry has way too many variables. With hundreds, nearly thousands, of configurations, options and settings, it's difficult to predict how a game will run on a random PC.

With the console systems it's set. Everyone has the exact same base system. They may add extras but initially they all have a predictable platform.

This game looks decent, and though I'd like to see it on PC, I'd hate to have it just be a console port. I think KOTOR 1 & 2 were rather limited because of that.

Tech demos of DMM and Euphoria in action. Pretty cool/funny. Throwing stormtroops through the air and mini-R2 units through plywood :P
