Ummm just for some information. Your comp approval never uses the word OR, so does that mean we are to do ALL of the three platforms or just one of them or as many as we want?
Also, no offence but, a lot of members were not around for the Exodus and you are asking for something very very detailed, which to me is going to be extremely hard for members that were not around at that time. You want it written from the P.O.V. of one of the seven, but for new members, or even older ones that were not around then, that will be extremely hard or difficult. Honestly, I think you should have another one run for members that were not around at that time. But thatÂ’s just my opinion

1) Most people do not know any of the Seven personally.
2) Many people were not here for the Exodus, and can't write about it "realistically."
3) You're putting forward that "winning entries" will be sent to the GM/DGM for approval to be the "representation of the actual event." Very few people will be able to write it well enough, or accurately enough, to be the official representation.
4) The official representation should be done for the DSC, and should be done for something other than a competition, in my opinion.
However. For those interested in writing about the Exodus, even if you weren't there, fire off an email to any of the following people:
GM Firefox
GM Jac Cotelin
GM Khyron
GM Chi Long
DJM Corran Force
DJM Pyralis
DJM Shan Long
(a.k.a. The Seven)
or:
DP Telaris "Mav" Cantor

Although, I'm not too sure how keen those three individuals would be to speak with you about the Exodus. But they still have a viewpoint on it, nonetheless.
I'm pretty sure that if it's going to be in the DSC, it'd have to pass muster with the T:DSC as well as the GMly types, not just flatly awarded for a comp. ;)
Actually it was Sarin's idea for the MT's to be integrated with the actual history. Halc, Raken and I agreed so if you have any problems direct them to all of us,
