Back when Spears was Headmaster, the Test of Lore got changed. One major downside to this is that the new Test of Lore, while getting more members into the Brotherhood, left a lot of important information out. This is not to denigrate Spears, or Jac, or even myself, or anyone else who had a say in the matter.

Today, this oversight gets rectified. I'm happy to announce the release of the Brotherhood Basics course, which is vaguely reminiscent of the old Test of Lore. While designed for new(er) members, anyone is free to take the exam. Who knows, you might even learn something :P

Oh, and this test is by no means meant to replace Envoys, House Summits, or Clan Summits, or let them slip in their duties. This is just another tool to help new members.
