It has come to my attention through various Alliance and Bothan contacts that the Vong invaders employ non-standard ships of unusual design. I propose that for all of our mutual defense, we create and share a database of known Vong sensor contacts to help our targeting computers across the Brotherhood.

It might help if when you put a news post on the site In Character you have an OOC description below it to stop people getting confused. I think I know what you mean, but an OOC explanation would make things a little easier to understand.

ooc: yeah, it was a tactic the Alliance used. They had a hard time targetting the organic Vong ships, but once they started sharing data all that was solved.
Basically because the Vong ships looked like, and were made of a similar substance to asteroids the target acquisition software on their fighters refused to target a Vong ship. I guess that's what this posts about, timeline wise tho by this time (27 ABY I think) the Wars been going on for 2 years and one would assume that the information and tactics would already be known, such as stutter fire and premature detonating proton torps. the Brotherhood for the most part is in or near the invasion corridor so you'd have thought we'd picked up news from intel reports or simply trade partners.
Welsh, that was simply the most trouser tenting experience of my life.

If their ships are rock, why not just spray them with aqua regia or sulfuric acid and be done with it?
