Inspired by both a conversation in #tarentum, as well as Shadow's "non-Star Wars gaming month," the task before all of the participating members of the Brotherhood is to write the story of a battle between their two favorite heroes, villains, teams, etc.
Would you like to see a battle between the X-Men and the cast of Heroes? Write it. Have you ever wanted to see Darkwing Duck take on Batman and Chip and Dale in a fatal three-way? Write it. If you want to see your Brotherhood character go up against Superman, it's a story waiting for you to tell it. Would you like to write your version of what REALLY would have happened in the Justice League America taking on the Avengers? Go for it!
The possibilities are endless. For those of you familiar with the comic book "Star Wars: Infinities," it takes each Star Wars tale and changes detail to offer a new, exciting story about "What If..." Now, focus on things not limited to Star Wars. Stay away from Star Wars if you want to; add in another universe to your Star Wars tale if you wish. The choice is up to you.
The competition will run all month long; entries are due November 30, 2007 at 11:59 PM EST. Entries will be judged by the Consuls of the Brotherhood, with additional help request from Dark Council judges as needed. 2nd-level Crescents are up for grabs, and a lot of cool stories waiting to be told. (Note: I'm still trying to work out some extra incentives with the GM, DGM and Consuls, which may include robes based off of the winners' favorite hero/villain, and other potential prizes. I'll update you as I get a decision on that.)
Do we get to read the story of Darth Vader and Dr. Doom? Will we see Harry Potter take on Yoda and the creatures of Dagobah? Will the Ewoks take on the Care Bears in an annoyingly cute and happy tale of goodness? Will Captain America take down Captain Planet? You write the tale, you decide.

Yeah, looks good, you can have any classic confrontation, like Ming the Merciless and the guy in the white suit from fantasy island.

Yes, I'll see what I can do about putting the submitted stories up, as many of them as possible. And, for those who use more "adult" characters (there are some heroes or villains who curse), we'll make a note about language content.
How about me writing some fiction about my forbidden manlove with BF? Trev will fly into a jealous rage and destroy me :P
