This happened a few days ago but since there has yet to be a news post about it I will abuse my access to inform those who don't frequent IRC ...
After a few days of deliberation it has been decided that Dark Jedi Master Halcyon Rokir will be the new Consul of Clan Taldryan. Halc's outstanding career of leadership coupled with the Clan's respect for him made the Dark Jedi Master a natural choice.

And contrary to another Consul's report...Halc isn't the acting Consul, he's the real 'here-to-stay' type of Consul. Complete with his own set of bias.
