On behalf of Jack Okason:

That's right people, the Dark Jedi Brotherhood has a training hall for the Jedi Academy/Jedi Outcast gamers that want to learn how to use Singles, Duals or Double-bladed (staff) sabers on JA and to learn how to use Strong in JO. If you want to become a student in this training hall please send a message to Jack Okason at [Log in to view e-mail addresses] or find him in #DJBJAsaberacademy, #Caliburnus or #scholae. If you want to teach in the following fields: Singles, Duals, Staff for JA, Single Strong for JO please seek Jack Okason out as well and submit an application giving your last 10 games from your recent gaming list for JA or JO respectively.

** NOTE** If you do want to become a teacher you must be able to be on at least 4 days a week and you must possess the ability to work with those that are new to the game. After all you WILL be teaching members to out fight you.

If you've read all that and are interested in improving your Jedi Outcast and/or Academy skills, I suggest you get in touch with Jack.

Not to sound like an asshole, but watercooler talk is that he's not all that he claims to be. So uh. Why is he training others? :P

From what I can tell, he is simply organizing the training classes, and others will teach.

  1. He's not that bad at the games.
  2. He's organizing this for the good of all the clans, so be nice.
  3. Yes... Tarax.... you did sound like an asshole.:)

Lets keep the personal insults to people who do stupid things... not people who are offering free help.

Like me. :)

Also, not everyone has the version that CSP uses.... think it through.

I find its a bit silly that those who are providing servers to the DB cannot come to an agreement and ofer at least a basic standard for each server. Kinda is a pain when it comes to competitions isn't it?

It takes five minutes to download the maps and install them in the correct folder. While not everyone likes the version of JA that is on the CSP server, the same can be said of the Kr'tal server and the Antei server. Each has their own quirks, and that's just how it is. I personally just fought on Kr'tal last GJW b/c I didn't like the settings and gameplay on the Antei serve, and I hated the old settings on the CSP server. The CSP server has been changed, and now it offers a better gameplay than the old version. If you don't want to take the few extra minutes to download a few maps, then by all means don't. Just don't bitch about how you can't play on it.:)

Have a good day!

Can't everyone just play on whatever server they want and avoid all the drama? Two JA servers don't require any special things, so everyone can join those. If you want the special maps, then download those and play away. If not, use Antei or Kr'Tal. Too each there own :P

Dante: Some people refuse to download maps and crap like that, because in the past it's done something to their game. Like Cyris said, there is THREE (3) JA servers available to the DB, so just utilizing the CSP server is kinda foolish.

Guess what? If you want to train, you train by thier rules, or find someone to train you on a different server. now was that hard?

sunshine, lollipops, and rainbows! everything that's wonderful to you and me when we're together!

Also - this argument is retarded. If Jack and company wish to train on a specific server with a specific map (a map geared towards training) then that's their call. This isn't some sanctioned DB event - this is some DB gamers wanting to help out other DB gamers if they're interested.

I chose the CSP server as it gives you 100 shield and 100 health which is what a standard battle should be. I also chose the Academy V2 map as the training that I incorprate into learning skills and combo's lets you battle against map bots known as the sith. These guys have 3x the health we normally have and can kill you instantly if your stupid with your actions.

If you don't like how I'm setting up training for those that WANT to do GOOD in the IG in a week to 2 weeks then train them yourselves.

Like Shadow says, this is not DB sanctioned this is what I thought up from an idea Xan and the Headmaster have that can do the brotherhood in its entirely some good. This is from my personal time, from my personal dand I'm doing this for the good of the brotherhood as I like being in it and for the good of the gamers that hardly game or don't know how to game and want to learn how to beat people like anubis, dante, prajna and revenge at JA and JO.

As for what people are saying about my skeleton is none of their business. If you want to know about that skeleton then ask in private, do not blast it across the world. It shows 2 things: 1. your very stupid and you have no respect for others. 2. You are not a true gentleman or a gentlewoman and you should be reprimanded for disrespecting others.

Now that I've given my 2 cents worth, shadow you can keep the comment box open or close it so nobody can start spamming in here.

The reprimand thing is a little harsh, Jack.

Alright, alright. Enough.

If you want to continue the discussion further, take it up on the message boards. Comments are for "thanks, congrats, condolences, etc" and the like.

Normally Kir would post such things but he's off in the bizzaro land.
