Sarin and I have received a lot of great applications for MAA. In the end, the best one was Syn Kaek, a former MAA who helped bring about a lot of the standards that Halc and Krav had worked with in recent times. His even hand and solid experience will help immensely in the office and on the Dark Council.

In all seriousness, Kaek brought a lot of good stuff to the position right after he shot and murdered Khan. Kaek and I have a long and torrid history of both respecting and hating each other, often at the same time, for some of the same things. I have nothing but respect for Kaek, and I consider him to be one of the better friends I have outside of Tarentum.
And please, I mean this with all sincerity. Will you be my date to the prom?
