The Independent Games have officially ended and regular gaming has returned. I want to remind everyone that the RoCs are in effect and that when playing JO/JA that you have to use OFFICIAL servers - servers that have been approved by the GM, DGM, and myself.
The Server list can be found here. As you've all probably noticed by now, the Kr'Tal JA server has been retired. I'd like to thank Duga for all the time and money he spent ensuring we had great gaming servers when there were so few around.
I recently sent an email to Sarin, Muz, et al about official server requirements. When they get back to me on that I'll add them to the wiki page and people with servers will be able to apply, providing they meet the requirements.
On the ICTE front, I just wanted to let everyone know that May 24th will be a double CF ICTE. Hopefully this will entice some of you weary IG gamers to come out and play. That would be the Saturday after next.
PS: For this week, since it was cut short due to IGs, there will be no Pendant of Blood up for grabs. Also, there will be no monthly gaming competition until June.

That sucks for those JA folk that use that 'Orian' server. Long live JO.
pretty sad were down to nit picking on servers be it official or unofficial.
Then just apply to have whatever server you like added to the list of official servers. There are good reasons why there is an official list with requirements.

If I cant play on Orian, please have the JA+ mod removed from the CSP server and replaced with a JK Base Mod.
JA+ tends to screw up damage calculations and will ensure unfair fights towards certain weapon types ( ie: Staff > Dual - Single > Staff - etc)
I would really prefer the Orian server to be enstated at the main DB server for JA. It has been proven reliable and stable, and resembles the old Shadow Academy/Antei server a lot. Which is, in my honest opinion, a plus.

Is there something wrong with the Antei Server? If people weren't happy with one, would this be a good alternative as it's already around?
The force recharge and many times ping on the Antei Server is very bad.
I don't find the JA+ to be that different from what's running on the Antei or even Dessan's server.
i know this is off topic but when will the results be out for the gameing portion?
Korvyn, What Im getting at is....that policy (official servers)was never enforced, so either someone did something stupid or we are getting truly petty in this club. My guess is someone did something entirely stupid

Most of the rules and guidelines I have added during my time as Tribune are common sense items that should have existed long before to prevent possible problems. The bit about official servers was a direct result of the GJW (maybe RoS) problem of Khobai and Blade playing matches on a server that the administrators didn't have access to. One of the requirements of these official servers is that the Tribune, GM, DGM, and JST are able to get the server logs from the owners/admins of the servers.

The owners/admins of the servers are in charge of the mods they choose to run. If you have a suggestion try emailing or messaging the owner of the server in question.
