New Wiki Policy!

As some of you may have noticed, I separated the former "Guidelines" page into two: "DJBWiki:Guidelines" and "DJBWiki:Editing Policies". What's the difference? The "Editing Policies" are mandatory. Although much of it is the same from the old Guidelines page, I have added one new rule after discussion with the Staff and receiving approval from Sarin:

"If a member demonstrates the severe inability to use the Wiki correctly on at least three occasions, the member will be banned from the Wiki until they take the Wiki Basics course. This will be decided on a case-by-case basis by the Wiki Staff."

What does this mean?

You don't have to take Wiki Basics to register for an account on the Wiki, but if you show that you have no clue as to what you are doing, you will be banned, after three warnings from the Staff, until you take Wiki Basics. To those of you who haven't taken Wiki Basics, but seem to know what you are doing, good job.

Applications are still open for two spots on the Wiki Staff

Requirements to apply:
- hold at least the rank of Guardian
- understand the policies and guidelines of the DJBWiki
- be willing to assist with the duties outlined on the "Wiki Tribune" article

Even if you don't meet all of the requirements, I may make an exception if your application blows my mind at least three times consecutively.
