Long-run Events

The first reminder is about the several events which run throughout the entire GJW. This includes the Team Gaming, Puzzle, Trivia, and SA Degree events. It's easy to forget about these events, but their scores will all be totaled after Week 6 and then added to the GJW score...which could give the Clans that do well a large boost in points, right at the end of the competition.

So don't forget about these events - you guys have three weeks left, so take advantage of them!

Fiction Standards

The second reminder for everyone is about the fiction events. The DB competition standards for fiction are size 12 Times New Roman or Arial font, single spaced, with 1 inch margins. Also, title sections are not counted towards the length of your submission, only the actual story length.

So if the length requirement for a given fiction event is 3 pages, it must be 3 pages long while following the above requirements. If you find 1.5 spacing easier to view that's fine, just make sure it fits the length requirement when it's all single-spaced as well.

Overall this hasn't been a problem, I'd say that 98% of submissions have met this standard...and most of those who didn't weren't even close. I just wanted to remind everyone, and we'll be adding it to the GJW website as a reminder.
