These are all pretty old games, will they run on Vista without slicing the ini files?

I think they will work on Vista, just run compatibility mode if it doesn't. Anything older then JO should be free imo.
Ludy - the games work on Vista.. downloaded and played, except the controls need obvious tweaking for some games. It's a really good buy if you ask me..

If it was made for any OS under XP...then you need the Vista 64 bit OS...32 bit OS wont install it unless its been "fixed" So anything above JO will work fine on vista.
correction....as it looks (from what my tired old eyes can read).....they're stating vista for Dark forces 2....so maybe getting the game package from them...will allow a 32bit Vista OS to install it. Originally the first two jedi knight games wasn't made for Vista, only XP and 98/ME Same goes for XWA...if they allow that platform on Steam I have no issues getting the whole package then......
