When no attack materialized, the Epis ordered Battlegroup Vanguard to stand down. Though short, his conversation with Arebis had troubled him. Vodo had been drawn to his offers of knowledge and greater power, but still held back; his loyalty to his Clan his only anchor. Arebis promised training in lost techniques, access to Holocrons thought destroyed in the Sith Wars, and spells unimaginable even to the most talented of Krath. The Twi'lek Consul could not lie to himself, he wanted these things. Something nagged at him however to remain on Karufr, to oversee the duties of his office, to go about business as usual. The body of the Assassin was long disposed of and the so called Darth Arebis would not dare strike at him again with such heightened security across the Taldryan Realms.

With the surveys of the Rybanloth System and the Kr’Tal System underway, Vodo left word with his Proconsul of a brief absence. He would be out of contact but would return within only a few days. The flight engineers readied the Expedition, Taldryan’s Star Yacht for take off and saw to its operational preparedness. He uttered no words or acknowledgements to the ground crew other than a curt nod and boarded the ship. The _Baudo</>-class star yacht lifted up from the stone tiling and folded it’s landing gear smoothly into the fuselage before gliding out of the subterranean hangar and into the sky.

Kalus, in the Rybaloth System was only a short hop away, doing nothing to sooth his ever-growing anxiety. He would meet with this Sith, Darth Arebis, and would decide from there what he would do.

Its been a slow month for Taldryan, but activity is picking up again. Remember, there is a Rite of Supremacy just around the corner. For those of you who have never taken part in a RoS, its a Brotherhood-wide series of competitions wherein the prizes up for grab can be Hero Titles for individuals and the titles of First, Second, and Third Clan. Taldryan is still the First Clan from the previous Rite and I plan to retain this title. Everyone should begin to pick up their activity by participating in any of the many competitions offered by either House or Clan Summits. I highly encourage you all to jump on IRC, its the best way to meet people, find out about opportunities to participate, and make friends.
