Some faulty requests have occurred lately, which prompted this reminder.

When requesting Crescents, keep the following in mind:

1) that you listed the correct competition in the appropriate field. if you can not select it for whatever reason, place a (cleaned up) link to the competition in the request field.

2) when there are less then three participants in a competition, lower the crescent level by one. in the case of fifth level crescents, lower it to Topaz and Quartz.

When requesting a promotion, keep the following in mind:

1) list specifics. for example, if someone participated in 3 competitions, list the names of those competitions.

2) don't simply copy/paste all the requirements.

3) don't list things that have not completed yet. so, no competitions that have not yet been judged and awarded for, or character sheets that are not yet approved.

failure to comply will result in a denial.
