Bryar Bowl IV Begins!

This again, is on behalf of Anubis, who is running this edition of the Bryar Bowl.

Hello everyone, and welcome to the start of Bryar Free or Bryar Hard: the fourth installment of the always awesome Bryar Bowl! This post is to let you know that the BB is officially open, who you're playing, and what the general code of conduct is. Sound good? Alrighty. Please note that a reminder will be given two days before the end of Round I to those that need to complete their matches.

It's Open!

Self explainatory. :P

Matches

General Conduct/Rules

  • Each 'match' will consist of up to three standard matches, as outlined in the Rites of Combat (5 kills to each standard match). It's best two out of three. It's like rule 34 of the internet: no exceptions.

  • Players have a week to play their three matches with their opponent. The decision was made to extend each round to a week each to allow members from different time zones (such as Europe) to play.

  • After matches have been completed, the scores of the matches must be emailed to [Log in to view e-mail addresses] with both pins, who got what, and who overall won. To locate the dossier number of your opponent, please consult the image above for their first name and the signups page here

  • You are not required to be in the IRC channel #dbgaming, since you are a) not looking for players (since you already have a predetermined player) b) your match numbers are already pre-determined. Instead, [Log in to view e-mail addresses] is the substitute.

  • Obviously, only Bryar Pistols and the game Jedi Outcast may be used. Again, no exceptions. It's a Bryar Bowl, people. Not a Flechette Bowl. :D

  • If neither of the players make it to the 'best two out of three', the player with the larger score will be chosen. If no matches were played, the choice will be randomized and the chosen person will move onto the next round

  • Any questions should be brought to the immediate attention of the Taldryan Summit: Shaz'air/Sid ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]) and Anubis ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]).

  • All Clusters of Fire, Crescents, and winner awards will be recieved at the end of the Bryar Bowl, four weeks from now.

  • Have fun, and don't be a lamer

May the best Bryar Win!

(Note: Time Extension for this event has been granted, and the event will run 1 week per round, with 4 weeks for the entire event. This is a change from the previous 3 days per round. Thank you.)

In terms of CFs, if one opponent wins the first two sets is the third required to award the other CFs? Or how does that work?
