_Ronovi rose calmly from the obsidian throne, the small cluster of Tarentae gathered before her. Waves of silence carried her footsteps to the edge of the steps, as she stared down upon those who had been invited to the ceremony. With a gloved finger, she beckoned over a castle worker, who bowed deeply before offering the black cushion to the Quaestor.

Six honored Tarenti stood before her, and six beautifully carved medals gleamed from their resting place. Ronovi picked up each one, stooping down to pin them upon each man's breast. When she straightened herself up, she nodded once as the men turned to face the small crowd.

"Honored members and allies of Tarentum, here are the heroes of your fief. May we praise them: Sith Bloodfyre-Tarentae. Maxamillian von Oberst-Tarentae. Scion Altera. Sephiroth Shamshan Kali. Nichos Rhade. Altheseus Levathan."

There was no applause, no fanfare. Simply a unified nod of acknowledgement toward the Dark Jedi with stoic faces but shining medals upon their chests. Ronovi smiled - there was no better reward than victory._

Disorder Results

Disorder has ended and the Obelisks are the victors. In total, 10 Tarenti participated in the vendetta, putting in 21 submissions. A total of 7 Novae were earned: 3 Gold Novae, 1 Silver Nova, and 3 Bronze Novae. Despite low participation, we really did bring in high placements.

I would like to congratulate the following Tarenti for earning merit medals:

• For participating in the Week 1 fiction event and earning a Bronze Nova for the Week 2-3 fiction event, Sith Bloodfyre-Tarentae has been awarded an Anteian Cross.

• For participating in and earning a Silver Nova for the Week 1 fiction event, Maxamillian von Oberst-Tarentae has been awarded an Anteian Cross.

• For participating in the Week 1 fiction and trivia events and earning a Bronze Nova for the Week 3 trivia event, Scion Altera has been awarded an Anteian Cross.

• For participating in the Week 1 fiction and gaming events, Sephiroth Shamshan Kali has been awarded a Dark Cross.

• For participating in the Week 1 fiction and poetry events, Nichos Rhade has been awarded a Dark Cross.

• For participating in the Week 1 fiction and JO events, Altheseus Levathan has been awarded a Dark Cross.

I would also like to acknowledge Apollo, Severon Vercingetorix, and Tyyravvis Nami Dantes for their participation in single events. A job well done, guys.

Tarentum's Future

As I said in a previous e-mail, Tarentum is going through a tough time. Whether due to a glitch or a coding error or God knows what, we have not received a single new member in Tarentum. This has created a sort of ennui for those members who wish to teach, and while older members move on from the DB we have no one to replace them. I have discussed the issue with Muz and he has taken it up with the coders. I have been continually e-mailing people to see what the problem is, since I am not backing down until it's fixed. We'll see how it all turns out, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Tarentum leaders are currently in talks regarding future storylines with other houses and the future of our battle teams. Until we come to a conclusion, the Reckoners commander spot will remain open. We will update you all as more news develops.

"The King and the Gods" will be concluded by a small team of writers who have volunteered to finish the project. House-specific competitions will appear again in the following month. Scion and I have lots of ideas for small, fun competitions, some of which we may present to Halc so he can turn them into DB-wide events.

DB Happenings

The Bryar Bowl has begun, and our own Zero Raven is participating. Please wish him luck as he goes against some of the Brotherhood's top gamers. We know he'll rock it!

Vexxtal aka Windos has decided to step down from the position of Wiki Tribune after a year in the position. He is looking for a replacement, so please consult his news post on the main website for more details on how to apply. The DJBwiki is an important and fun aspect of our club, and we'll need a good, responsible Tribune to run it.

Recently, Shadow Academy trivia was run in the #db channel. If you would like to run trivia for Tarentum (we are allowed to run trivia once weekly), please e-mail me and Scion and we can set up a trivia topic and time. Remember, if you participate in trivia, you could be one of two people who earn Legions of the Scholar.

And with "Disorder" over, we are now anticipating the TENTH Great Jedi War, which will begin in 2011. According to Muz, "epic storyline is epic," so keep on your toes!
