Brethren,

First off, I would like to thank all of those who applied for the position of Deputy Grand Master. There were a lot of high quality applications, and it took some time and thought to go through them all and give them the consideration that they deserved.

In the end, the person getting the position is not unknown to the Dark Council or even Grand Masters of the past. He has served in myriad positions over his long career, having learned the ins and outs of may facets of our organization. He has served as advisor and confidante to me over the last few months, even stepping beyond his official duties to fill in the gaps that would sometimes appear due to Sarin's situation. He has been de facto Deputy for some time now, and it's only fair that he takes the position proper and the credit that comes with it.

Halcyon Taldrya will be the next Deputy Grand Master.
