[HRLD] Dark Assassin
The Heraldâs Office has received reports that a member of the Brotherhood is leaking information to an outside party which could compromise the secrecy of our organization. The Heraldâs Praetor, Jeric Cyrin, has discovered evidence that may lead to the suspect. In order to stop this traitor the Heraldâs Office has released the evidence discovered by Praetor Cyrin over the holonet, the person has probable already fled. An substantial award will be given to the person who tracks down and assassinates the target. Here is the list of evidence:
- Faithful member of the Sith Order.
- Served as a Hand of Justice under JST Firefox.
- Holds a sacramental award above Emerald Dagger.
- Has mastered at least one discipline from each order.
- Former Commodore of an Imperial Star Destroyer.
OOC: Use the clues provided below to tack down the traitor, you will need to use many means available to you to tack down the traitor. Once you figure out who it is, write a minimum 2 page (Arial, 12pt) fiction on how you tracked down the traitor, assassinated them, and returned to the P:HRLD to claim your award. The fiction will be graded based on realism, grammar, details, and writing style (much like a ACC Battle).
This competition starts today and will run until the 11th of April. I will be awarding 2nd level Crescents as well as a special prize for 1st place. I know you all love seeing sexiness so here is the prize, the Assassin Lightsaber, as it is so cleverly called:

awesome work, but the emitter - blade transaction ... it looks kinda weird to see a cone shaped emitter :P
I'm pretty sure that "cone" is actually two blade-type objects, so when the lightsaber blade is not ignited, the gauntlet can still be used as a weapon... or something similar.
Also, this competition is probably one of the most unique/original I've ever seen. I'm lovin' it, man. Also, great work on that graphic, Jeric. Looks sick.
I think the "cone" is to protect the user's hand when its ignited since it is on the underside of the forearm.
I think thats what the hand guard thing underneath the blade is for :P
Its not a cone, it's a regular emitter, the guards on the side just make it look like a cone. And Fremoc is right it's to protect the user since it goes under the forearm. Although it could go on the up side ;)

perhaps you can use the left side with the blade activated and the right without the blade (or reverse), so this can be seen on the winners dossier :P

What if you aren't high enough rank to display custom sabers? Also can we get help in 'assasinating' the traitor? NPC? If it's who I suspect it is then there's no way I'll be able t o get within a parsect without a tip off. much less taking the person out....
So here's a question... Assuming that the target member is one of high rank, how are people of lower rank than the target supposed to eliminate him and still be realistic? I call bias, and question Halc's involvement :D

Thank you Dash....yes be creative. The point of this is to use your imagination. I want interesting fictions to read, not "ok this is how i kicked his ass." You can you NPCs cause I didn't say anything about not using NPCs. Get creative. And to answer your question Protector Yurashima, the winner of this competition will be awarded the saber and allowed to display it on their dossier no matter what rank they are at ;)
