_Light is limited; Darkness is infinite _

The Invicta was an ominous silhouette through the murky clouds that blanketed New Tython. It was a winged beast in the dusk sky framed only by the grey-orange plumes of soot that continued to rise from the surface. Heaped ash still smouldered replacing houses, temples and villages. Menat Ombo was just a husk of its former self; a shell devoid of life, save for the very few sifting through the ashen ground for personal possessions or long-dead family members. It was a horrifying sight but one Arcona revelled in. Success had come at a price; two of Arcona's greatest falling victim to the Ge'tal Gaan still loomed heavy on the Clan's shoulders.

Arcona, triumphant in war, was left the spoils. Whether it was resources or conquest, they were given free-reign on stripping the lands of New Tython. Economically, the Harakoans would prove useful as slaves to Arcona's profit. Slaves were in high demand throughout the galaxy, and even more were willing to ferry them, albeit at a price. Selen was also in need of a new labour force, so it seemed the primary choice.

"Wun, what's the situation?" Timeros spoke abruptly into the comlink, pacing hurriedly up and down the main bridge of the Invicta.

"First assassination attempt. Nothing I can't handle. Sitrep on the occupation?" The Consul sounded surprisingly relaxed.

"What?" Timeros' voice cracked suddenly.

"Teroch. He thinks it is my fault Sashar and Zandro died. I want a sitrep on the New Tython occupation. How many slaves have we procured so far?"

"Very well, we have them stored in the barracks aboard the Invicta with a shipment of roughly 400 a day coming up on the new MAATs."

"Fantastic. Be sure to keep me informed."

"I will, Lord Consul."

"I have a situation to sort out. Take care, brother. In darkness." With that Wuntila's comlink turned static and Timeros turned to his compatriot, Strategos.

"It seems we have a situation back at the Citadel." Timeros turned on the ball of his foot and walked off toward the Turbolift with Strategos falling in step behind.

"We have a situation here on New Tython as well, Timeros." Strategos said as they both entered the lift.

"And what might that be?"Timeros' expression remained akin to a stone carving.

"The Jedi have mobilised small contingents. They're launching guerrilla attacks on our F.O.Bs, slicing terminals and freeing the Harakoans."

"Well then that's something we'll have to address. Get yourself ready, we'll be going onto the planet surface. Mobilise the Summit Guard." Timeros stepped out of the turbolift, his long blonde hair trailing behind him, and walked towards his quarters. After the Rollmaster left Strategos let a smile tease at the corner of his lips.

They want another war? We'll give them one.

First Arcona Consul report? Nice. I'd like to say a brief thank you for backing me for the position. I appreciate the sentiments you all gave me. It meant a lot. As such, I sent out a welcome email pertaining to my new position. Be sure to check it out. By the same token, I'd like to say thank you to the Arconae for voting me in as one of the esteemed di Tenebrous Arconae. It's a great privilege and one I am proud to hold.

Now, onto business. Firstly, I'd like to say a massive congratulations to you all for winning the war. You all outdid yourselves to the _n_th degree. I am proud to call myself an Arconan in times like these. Give yourselves all a pat on the back (and polish your new shinies). We came top with a staggering 3138 points, which was 733 points over our next contender, Taldryan. Suffice it to say that our margin of victory was more than some houses acquired over the entire war. Well done to you all. Fantastic job.

By the same token, we've got some new toys to play with. As you may be aware, a new Battleteam will be opening up in House Qel-Droma named Void Squadron: link to the start of the new wiki page. This is based on our acquisition of 12 Stealth-X fighters. This means that not only do we have the best squadron in the Brotherhood, said squadron will be formed into a Battleteam. Think of it as the Rogue Squadron novels but on a more impressive level. Similarly, we also procured a Mandalorian Clan of Warriors, A Terentatek, 10 MAATs, a cloaking device and turbolasers for the ISDII-Eye of the Abyss II, and a Space Station. Thanks to the Summit members involved in the choices. Although some of you may have reservations about these selections, believe me when I say we don't need any more capital ships to wreak havoc; we have already done that with our fleet already.

So, we've won the Great Jedi War, what next? Well, we have some really interesting events currently being authored/finished off at present. Don't rest on your laurels. I expect only the best from the First Clan of the Brotherhood. You've proved you're all capable. As I'm sure you are all well aware, I have very high standards and those who meet those standards receive only the highest of rewards. I have been through thick and thin in this Clan, through highs and lows, but its always been the membership who have pulled themselves back. This relationship is based on reciprocity; you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours. If you represent the Clan, I'll ensure that people are made aware of such. I'm a great advocate of giving people credit where credit is due. It is on this premise that my leadership rests.

Arcona - House Odan-Urr Event

As some of you may be aware, we're starting a cooperative event with House Odan-Urr based on the continued occupation of New Tython. The link above takes you to the first competition in the event, wherein the members involved are to write their own take on the fictional introduction of the event. The winning entry will be used as the introduction to the event.

Confusing as it may be, this is actually a cooperative event. Fictionally Arcona and House Odan-Urr will be fighting each other, however the events (planned to run over a period of two-three weeks) will be left to groups of Arconans and the Disciples of Odan-Urr. That means you're going to suck it up and pair up with one of the Jedi from Odan-Urr and participate in the events as a pair. Hence the cooperative part of the event. Although nothing is set in stone yet, this will provide you guys with the opportunity to really get back into the swing of competitions without having to worry about representing Arcona. You will be representing yourselves and, as such, the individuals who win the event will be awarded in kind.

This also provides a good opportunity for Arcona to begin shedding its 'insular' skin and begin becoming part of the wider community of the Brotherhood. Ji and I will be working closely together to grade the events so don't worry about objectivity, that will be battled out between the Gand and I.

Keep your eye out for the competitions and wait on Ji's report for some more detailed information, but I would request that you begin thinking about your pairings now. The likelihood is people will begin early and you don't want to be up the creek without a paddle.

Awards

Okay, so this is the part where I comment on how great you all are. This time I mean it. You've all been fantastic in the war and I can't congratulate you enough. Below I have listed every member's award, given to them for their activity in the Tenth Great Jedi War. If, for any reason, you don't see your name on the list below or you still haven't received your shiney, don't worry: some are still in the post.

Promotion/Sacramental: Talos Erinos received the rank of Obelisk Prelate and Dash received an Emerald Dagger for his work in the Great Jedi War, Arcona and the Brotherhood as a whole. Ronovi also got a promotion to Obelisk Primarch! Congratulations, Ronnie. Similarly, Socorra received a double promotion to Jedi Huntress during the War itself. Brilliant work guys.

Grand Cross of the Dark Side: Strategos, Invictus and Marick all received Grand Crosses of the Dark Side for their work during the Great Jedi War. They were kick-ass in providing serious support to the Summit. Massive congratulations to them.

Steel Cross: Andrelious, Celahir, Socorra and Kratus all received Steel Crosses for their frankly outstanding work in the Great Jedi War. Congratulations guys.

Anteian Cross: Etah, Sang, Kant and Blarex all received Anteian Crosses for their participation in the Great Jedi War. Nice work, guys. Keep it up.

Dark Cross: Xathia, Mazer and Archer all received Dark Crosses for their participation in the Great Jedi War. Congratulations guys.

As you can see, many people have achieved many great things. This is a testament to your own skill above all else. Even more shinies are on the way, so keep an eye out.

Closing Thoughts

As you can see, we've achieved much in the past few months, but we're not out of the woods yet. You've all performed fantastically and we want to keep that ball rolling. Your Summits are working tirelessly to ensure that you all have a fun and entertaining experience here in the Dark Brotherhood, so make sure to take advantage of the work they're putting in.

By the same token, if you would like to involve yourself in any of the projects currently ongoing, please throw an email to myself or your House Summit. We are always receptive to members who are scratching at the bit to get more involved.
