SWTOR goes Free-To-Play on the 15th of November

The MMORPG, Star Wars: The Old Republic will be going free-to-play on the 15th of November. But what does this mean for you, those who are not playing TOR yet?

SWTOR is easily our most played platform, with a guild of over 400 characters (probably around 100 real people), and is a fantastic way to earn Clusters of Fire. As the game goes Free-to-Play, anyone can play the game (with some restrictions). Anyone. Without paying a dime. To remove the restrictions, one would need to pay the monthly free or similar monetary options.

So, if you are interested, log onto http://www.swtor.com and sign up on the 15th!

Note that in FTP you cannot do any Operations and your Flashpoints per week are very limited.

In fact, here's the list of FTP options against paid subscriptions: http://www.swtor.com/free/features

Many of the extras (like field revives, purple items, and instant travel to the Fleet) are gated with limits and weekly passes and the like, if you don't feel like springing for the subscription.

Yeah, I posted that in a report back in August I think.

Flashpoints are limited to 3 per week, Warzones are 5 per week.
