New announcement from Disney/Lucasarts. They will be releasing the new Star Wars films in pretty rapid succession: one every summer after the 2015 release of Ep VII. I think it's awesome. This will be a huge opportunity for the DB.

Well, here's hoping no horrible Mando offshoot, and the other ones are cool.
This first movie, thanks to the horrible prequels is going to... well it's probably going to end up being a "oh thank god that could have been worse" situation. At least the prequels lowered the bar again :P
I think we should continue more or less ignoring the expanded universe.
But as the movies come out we should form a group that studies them and incorporates them into our universe and lore as much as possible, even to the point of retconning minor portions of our history.
We don't want to be a group of stale old fogies clinging to the original trilogy when a new generation of Star Wars fans, who are excited by these movies, come looking for an internet home.
