Greetings, Tarenti!

Is this thing on? I'm still not used to the idea of posting these on the main site. Also it has been awhile since I did a report, so pardon me if I ramble a bit.

Anyway, it has been an exciting couple of weeks in Tarentum but the overall theme has been (and will continue to be) communication. My main task has been to try to get in touch with as many Tarenti as possible to find out who is alive and where we stand. I was prepared for the worst, but I am delighted to report that we do indeed have a small core of active, enthusiastic and talented people. People who are as excited as I am about the idea of Tarentum becoming a competitive unit again.

Just in the past week I've seen Levathan really step up to the plate as BTL of the Jen Kaari battle team by organizing some light competitions for June and recruiting for his team. Just in the past week we've seen it go from three members to eight. Nearly all of them have been present on IRC and exchanging many emails, and all have expressed their excitement about the next chapter of the Crusade coming up in July.

We were all proud to see Saronyx earn her promotion to the rank of Jedi Hunter yesterday. Keep up the good work and you'll be DJK in no time!

The position of Aedile is still open to applications from anyone in the DB. I'm taking applications until Friday and will decide on someone by early next week. I have a number of very solid applications to go through already, but there is still time if you're interested. I'm keeping the RM position closed for the time being. The successful applicant will be someone with a reasonable assessment of the current state of the House, a concrete 30/60/90 day plan to improve it, a good working knowledge of the DB, a very positive attitude, and who can demonstrate that they are reliable and have a solid work ethic. You need not have a great deal of experience, but you must be able to get on board, be ready to learn, and be ready to work. Tarentum Aedile is not an easy job. We have a long way to go and a ton of work to do.

I'll wrap it up there for now and just say I am excited to see what the next few months have in store for Tarentum.
