House Tarentum

It's alive! The halls of Castle Tarentum are abuzz with activity these days. Our newest members such as Aventine and Intoxication are quickly rising through the ranks and racking up the crescents, and some older familiar faces like Merlance and Frosty have returned to fight another day. When I took this office just a few short weeks ago I never imagined I'd be working with someone's master to devise a Knighthood trial just a month later. To put it simply, I am amazed.

Activity

Since the last report, here are a few highlights from the House's activity.

Anshar: Entered 5 competitions Bloodfyre: Entered a competition and earned 20 CoFs for TOR Oberst: Earned nearly 400 CoFs for TOR and won some trivia Jason: Earned a Cr-T Archean: Entered 5 competitions, won a few crescents and 30 CoFs Levathan: Entered 9 competitions, won 8 crescents, and ran a few comps Orion: Earned 15 CoFs for playing JA Saronyx: Entered 12 competitions, won 4 crescents, a couple LoS' and ran a competition Ernordeth: Entered 8 competitions, won a few crescents, a couple LoS', ran 4 competitions, a couple of SA courses, and became Aedile Malfurion: Entered two competitions, won a crescent Seren: Entered 7 competitions, won 5 crescents, 90 CoFs for playing JA, ran a competition, and promoted to PRT Aventine: Joined the DJB, entered 9 competitions, won 5 crescents, 3 SA courses, promoted 3 ranks Intoxication: 3 SA courses, 1 promotion

That's not even counting a couple of competitions that still need to be graded and medals awarded. So you can see why I'm so excited. Tarentum is like a brand new House and it's incredible. You guys are absolutely amazing!

Crusade

If you're new here or you've been stuck in Oberst's dungeon for the past few months you may not know what this Crusade thing is. Basically, the Dark Brotherhood is rampaging around the galaxy taking over planets that used to belong to ancient Sith, and now belong to a rival group of Dark Jedi called the One Sith. It's a year-long competition broken up into phases and chapters, and we're about to begin chapter 2. Chapter 1 had three phases. In each portion so far the various Clans and Independent Houses have competed with each other to conquer each planet, and I'll put this as delicately as I can: Tarentum has not fared well so far. That changes now.

In this phase we're assaulting the planet Ashas Ree, competing with Taldryan and Scholae Palatinae. The difference in this phase is that we have selected a "special forces" team of our best and most active. Our team competes directly against Taldryan and Scholae's teams rather than against the entire enemy units. Scoring for special forces is based on placing, and will determine who wins the planet at the end. The rest of the units have an important role to play as well: if we reach an average of 1.5x participation (eg. 40 members x 1.5 = 60 entries) we will be able to have nine special forces members in the next phase instead of just eight.

That's All, Folks!

I'm not sure if I mentioned this already or not, but you guys rock. I'm wicked excited to see what we can do in July, and in the months beyond.

In Darkness, Scion Altera Princeps Yridia Rex Gratia Quaestor of House Tarentum

Tarentum Momentum! Watch our growing flame.

Oberst 400CFs :o... Teach me Master!

It's ridiculous right? TOR made CFs easier to get than they were. I was able to get around 200 last month in JA, but Obs doubled that easily

Dear Firebird,
