I ave been preoccupied with school and had a lot of Art folio stuff to sort out, not my fault either, my teacher screwee dit up completely and lost loads of my design files. Anyway all sorted now but toook a LOT more effort and a LOT longer than was needed. I also apologise for my missing last weeks report - this was due to it being the last day of my secondary career and went out and got peeved with the teachers and colleagues. -Well, we've had an active week. :P The House Competition is running until
this Friday. War and I have sent submissions, and KAP Tavf (Rage) told me
he's writing something. Tatsu, I got your mail on the Krath List, good idea
asking people for help. :)

-In light of his extraordinary activity and service to Aleema, I am very
pleased to announce that I am promoting Jedi Hunter War to the rank of Dark
Jedi Knight! Congrats, War!

-I'm considering running another competition to create our House History.
If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

-Recruit, recruit, recruit! Try to get people from outside the DB. The more
people, the better, but try not to bring them in TOO fast. :)

-First off, I'd like to formally welcome four new members of House Aleema!
GRD Annikin Starkiller, GRD Amsel, and JH Kain Bathory are all new members
of House Aleema. Hail and welcome! :) DJK Troutrooper has also transferred
in from our Sith sister house, Galthain, giving us another old Sithie. Whoo! :)

-Second, I'd like to announce the formal (i.e. MAA-recorded) promotions of
JH War to the position of Aedile and rank of DJK and KAP Tavf to the
position of Tetrarch. Gratz, War and Tavf!

-My activity check went out on Sunday, so please reply. Hopefully, we'll be
able to get everyone up to speed.

I hope you are all fine and well. This week has been fairly quiet. In fact I'm quite dissapointed that nobody at all, has applied for the Vashino SGT spot. Due to this, I'm going to extend the deadline (for the last time) to Friday 18th. So If for whatever reason you did not have time, you do now :)

The AWOL check is underway, the results of which will be in soon.

I'm hoping to be organising a few comps in the next few weeks, but I'd like to know from you all, what you want to do. What comps do you want to see run within the house and/or the clan? E-mail me your feedback :)

After the resignation of former Quaestor, DJK Tyderius Gaul... the MAA has agreed with the Clan Summit and appointed DJK Devon Thannier to the position of Quaestor. He has also been elevated to OW! Congratulations!

  • _HM Update 5/8/2001 _
    As of right now, the turnaround time for the DB Basics Exam is hovering on the quick side of one week, which is an improvement from this time last week. Keep the exams comming in.

"A Study of the Dark Side Compendium" (the DSC Exam) will be ready soon for those who wish to take it.

The SA site will be undergoing further adjustments as time goes on. Please pardon the dust as some tweaks are made to the site to fit the planned additions to the SA.

  • _Emmisary On Leave 5/7/2001 _
    The Emmisary of the Dark Brotherhood, Grand Master Jac Ae-Sequera Cotelin has taken out a Leave of Absense due to personal problems.

I'm sure everyone will join with me in wishing a speedy return.

  • _Aesthetic Make Over for SA Site Complete 5/5/2001 _It is with great excitement that I announce the SA site make over - complete! I have pretty much tarted it up, but a lot of the content is still missing. On a positive note, the DSC course has been ASP'd and will be opened very shortly!   • _EH Ladder Season 2 starts! _

The ladder has been wiped and you can all now sign up again for the second season. It will also last 2 months and will finish on 4th July. You can join at http://www.imperialacademy.org/ladder/join.asp The EH Ladder is open to all members of the EH, including the DB.

Lookin good. I take it most of you have heard that Lucasarts are going to launch JK 2 in spring, 2002.. (About time too!) With this will come a whole load of new players, and hopfully they will join the DB! The whole of the obelisk will be revitalised, and activity will rise to what it was 2 years ago!!

SGT applications are no longer being accepted. A decision on that (finally) will gome on Monday, once myself and DH have looked at all the apps :)

  • _Transfer Bug 5-15-2001 _

I would like everyone to know that the bug that has been in the Transfer area of the domain is still there. This bug will show itself when you try to transfer into Clan Alvaak. I have looked at the coding and it is correct. The only think I can think that could case this bug is the lack of house's within Alvaak. I will get with some people to see if we can fix this bug.

If you want to transfer into Clan Alvaak please email it the request to MAA/DA Shotgun for the time being.

  • _Assembly of Consuls News: 5-14-2001 _

In the absence of EMS Jac Cotelin, I will be posting the news for the AoC.

1) Recent discussions on the state of awards in the Brotherhood, have prompted the Assembly to start a monthly review of the Dark Council, and recommend awards based on projects they complete, and the completion of their duties.

We will not award the medals ourselves....merely suggest them.

2) We bid farewell to Kodiak Tonaloc, former Consul of Clan Tarentum. It has been a pleasure to work with you Kodiak, and we wish you well in all your endeavours.

3) Suggestions of discussion from the members of the Brotherhood are always accepted. You may send a mail to any Consul to recommend something.
