WORLD NEWS:

As you all have heard the news from yesterday, I won't dwell on it
here. Suffice it to say that all of Aleema's prayers (yes, our Dark
Side prayers) go out to those families who have lost someone in the
horrendous events in NYC. Our oft-maligned LO/AD Ramos has lost his
uncle, who was working the WTC. The EH may not be a large organization,
but this event affects everyone.

DB NEWS:

VENDETTA RESULTS!!!
Although we didn't take first, Satal Keto placed an amazing second!!
Last year in the Great Jedi War, we placed fourth (I think), not even
close to where we should have been. Today, we are one step from where
we should be, could have been.

Second is a great achievement for us, but let's not get complacent. I
know we are relaxing for a few reasons, yet this does not mean we
become dormant. The next Vendetta is OURS!!!

-Also, GM Chi-Long has released a statement on clones. So for those of
you with clones, be sure to read it on djb.org news.

CLAN NEWS:

-PCON Mell has updated the clan site. Check it out at
www.isdchallenge.org/csk
-CON Oldie says Aleema has the cutest name out of all the CSK Krath
houses!!

HOUSE NEWS:
-A small competition may be in order, if things ever settle down around
the world. I'll release the details this weekend.
-AoD and SotN are running phyle competitions.
-Arania is sponsoring the CSK caption competition. Take 2 minutes and
participate ;)
-If ANYONE needs to take a personal leave of absence for a few days,
send an email to your TET and myself and go for it. We understand that
RL is always more important than the DB, especially now. The email
could just be, "Hi. Im leaving. Be back in a week." That's it. We just
need to know if you're here or not.

FISH FRY #2:
 
Well, this week's Fish Fry was to be jovial, fun, and entertaining.
However, recent events have led me to change my article. I'm sure
everyone knows what I am talking about.
 
We are Dark Jedis. We fight our opponents face-to-face. We take
responsibility for our acts. We may be evil and malicious, but as

Jedi, we remain honorable.
 
This act was evil, but cowardly. If the persons responsible had waged
out-right war against the US and fought us head on, I would be sad,
but I would accept it. However, this horrendous act sickens me to the
core. There is no honor, no respect in this injustice. Killing innocent
civilians and people who have nothing to do with this "war" (ie
foreign visitors) is revolting.
 
House Aleema fights with honor and dignity. If I EVER hear anyone
fighting like these bastards, I will PERSONALLY throw you out.
Respect for your opponent brings respect to you. Now go home and pray
for everyone who has perished so tragically.

OH, BY THE WAY:
-#CSK has been getting lots and lots of visitors recently. Come on in
and hang out with your favorite QUA and AED. Kaiann and I are also
there :D
-And if you have an AOL Instant Messenger ID, put it on your profile.

I would like to again congratulate everyone on an awesome job we've all
